Lorelei Lee, the gold-digging showgirl from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, is now a widow looking back on her 1920s adventures from the earlier musical. Four new songs for this production were written by Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, in addition to the classic songs retained from the Gentlemen score by Styne and Leo Robin.
