The new work follows a young South Korean boy, represented onstage as a puppet, being “re-homed” over an online chat room with two new, queer parents who take on the project of parenting and creating a family. The work was inspired by a series of articles Jung read about Americans using social media and other sites to “re-home” unwanted children.
